Thomas Meyer is Computer Science Faculty at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. Tom graduated from the University of Illinois as a high school physics teacher and then spent the next 29 years at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory where he worked in both Accelerator Operations and Instrumentation as an embedded systems developer. While at Fermilab, Tom earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science. He returned to teaching 5 years ago, at first teaching science and then migrating to computer science.
