Dr. Robert Kiely

History and Social Science Faculty at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy

Dr. Rob Kiely is a member of the history and social science faculty at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Ilinois.  Dr. Kiely studied the history of ideas and the history of science at Northwestern University and received his Ph.D. in 1996.  He also serves on the faculty of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has lectured frequently at the Adler Planetarium.  Dr. Kiely has presented papers at the Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Science and Technology, Northwestern University and is the recipient of a National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Grant; Outstanding Teaching Award, Northwestern University; and Faculty of the Year Award, School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
