Director for State and Federal Educator Outreach at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA)
Angela Rowley has been in the field of education for 21 years as a teacher and administrator. Currently, she is the Director for State and Federal Educator Outreach at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, providing curriculum support and professional development in STEM education throughout the state of Illinois. Additionally, her team regularly presents at local and national math and science conferences. Prior to her role at IMSA, Mrs. Rowley was the principal of a 3rd-8th grade STEM Magnet Academy where she created an integrated STEM curriculum removing traditional encore classes replacing them with robotics, digital literacy, and engineering. Her career began as a middle school teacher of math, ELA and social studies.
